About Gallery Iori

Nihonbashi-Odenmacho was once a lively crossroads where people and culture from all over Japan came together.

In this historic setting, we present Unglazed Yohen Tenmoku tea bowls, created by a kiln in Imbe, Okayama, honored with the use of the Imperial Fire Flame Kiln (Goryo Kaen-gama).

These are one-of-a-kind pieces, available exclusively at Gallery Iori.

We also showcase Bizen ware from the same distinguished kiln. Each piece is completely unique.

You are welcome to pick up each work, admire it closely, and purchase it if it speaks to you.

Alongside masterpieces such as the Yohen Tenmoku tea bowls from the Imperial Fire Flame Kiln,

we also shine a light on the works of lesser-known artists whose creations possess true depth and strength, offering them for exhibition and sale.

These are artisans whose work excels in technique, spirit, and creativity—

and through this space, we humbly support the journeys of these future masters.

Gallery Iori is a space that feels like the quiet stage of a timeless story—a place where you can quietly reflect with each work of art, finding calm, elegance, and a sense of coming home.

Our bilingual art director is available to guide you through the collection in both Japanese and English.

We hope you discover a truly special encounter here, at the crossroads of beauty and tradition—Nihonbashi.

Where tranquility and creativity resonate

Gallery Iori showcases and sells traditional and contemporary crafts, including unglazed yōhen tenmoku tea bowls.

We also spotlight works by emerging masters who are not yet widely known.

Each piece embodies the tangible power born from daily discipline and an inquiring spirit.

We invite visitors to engage with the works in our tranquil space, sensing the stories flowing beneath the surface and the breath of their creators.

Our bilingual art director, fluent in both Japanese and English, will thoughtfully convey the background and appeal of each piece to guests from around the world.

We hope this space will be where meaningful encounters resonate deeply.
